Want to rent house or duplex/TH with garage

Moving to Raleigh mid June from California because graduating DVM wife is doing internship at NCSU. We are looking for house with garage and fenced yard also 2 baths. We have 1 indoor cat but no kids! 1 year lease minimum possibly longer. Area must be safe since I spend most time working out of state and wife will be putting in long hours. Please email all properties that fit these crteria along with all conditions for lease. We are very good tenants. We would prefer not to go over $1000.00 per month, hopefully less. I will begin visiting weekends after 4/15 to begin housing hunt
