we bought "the old Richardson farm" in Wendell nc and have been restoring it this past year. I know it is the oldest house in that cirt and the 3rd oldest in wake county. one of its buildings, the outdoor kitchen, has been of particular interests to natives to Wendell. as they have had great grandparents born in it! each one this year have stopped by to take a look at a part of their history.it seems so many people hated to see its deteriorating condition over the years and weekly we have curious ones knocking at the door to see the house wake up again. we just had our open houses last month...
