HRIS Advisor & Associate

The Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Advisor is responsible for developing, adapting and scaling core human resource information systems, developing and documenting standards and procedures for implementing HRIS, ensuring that core software products are needs-driven, and developing methods and providing training to ensure sustainability of systems. The position will work closely with HRIS stakeholders, activity specialists, and Capacitys core HRIS development and implementation team.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, software engineering, or related field; five or more years project management experience in an information technology field, especially management or coordination of software development projects; demonstrated knowledge of software development procedures and standards, including writing use cases, technical specifications, testing plans and documentation; demonstrated knowledge of data collection including collection processes and data quality management; and demonstrated knowledge of technology training practices for groups and individuals. Database and/or Web design experience strongly preferred. Experience working with Open Source technologies such as MySQL, PHP and Linux highly desired. Additional desired qualifications include willingness to learn new technologies, ability to think logically and solve problems, ability to pay attention to detail and bring tasks to completion, and ability to work collaboratively and cooperate with others. French language skills and willingness to travel are highly desirable.

Additionally, the position will work closely with Capacitys core operations team to track HRIS expenditures, maintain budget projections and process vendor and consultant payments.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in related field; three or more years administrative experience; demonstrated ability to develop and track budgets; demonstrated ability to proofread and edit reports and documents; Exceptional command of the English language demonstrated by excellent written and verbal communication skills; and excellent word processing skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Office Suite required. SharePoint and/or Web design experience strongly preferred.
