Writer/Editor

The Writer/Editor works as a member of the corporate communications team to fulfill IntraHealths diverse organizational and project-specific communications and knowledge management needs. Duties include writing content for various communications media, including brochures, press releases and a monthly storytelling series; editing publications, reports, funding proposals and other documents for consistency, clarity and style; formatting documents; facilitating effective knowledge sharing practices among headquarters and country-office staff aimed at generating content for and promoting use of communications materials; and coordinating and managing specific projects and related timelines and processes. Candidates should possess a Bachelors Degree in a related field and three-to-five years of related experience; background in international development or health a plus. Excellent writing and copyediting skills required. Strong skills in Word and PowerPoint; experience with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft SharePoint a plus.
