Jr. Art Director/Production

Seeking creative full-time Jr. AD with "blow the competition out of the water!" attitude to join this fun team. This position requires a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, a commitment to learn and an ability to take criticism and make lemonade. Must be able to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment. If you take yourself too seriously this isnt the place for you.

Summary of Position - Responsible for designing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING for print, web, radio, TV, multimedia and anything else we throw at you. This is a small agency with big agency projects.

Key Responsibilities - Creative layout, design, brainstorming, logo, branding and campaign creation; Work with external printer services: request quotes, request specs, pre-flight, review proofs; Assist in Multimedia & Web Design/content

The successful candidate will have the following - Over 1 year print and web experience; AAS, BS or BA in Graphic Design; strong conceptual, typographic, design, layout, editing and production skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; exceptional attention to detail; strong organizational skills; ability to multitask and meet deadlines; ability to sketch ideas and produce projects from conception through completion; solid understanding of prepress for printing; team player

Computer Knowledge & Skills - Candidate must have excellent skills and experience working in the Macintosh & PC; Advanced skills in: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Quark, Acrobat; Intermediate skills in: Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, digital photography; Knowledge of the following a plus: CSS, E-Commerce, Action Scripting, JavaScript.
