The Chatham County Partnership for Children is seeking a creative, flexible and outgoing individual to work as Office Manager and primary support staff for the Executive Director and Board of Directors. This includes secretarial support, organizational bookkeeping, and other general support functions. The successful candidate will have strong organization and communication skills, high level computer processing skills, and basic bookkeeping abilities. The Office Manager provides daily management of the Partnership facilities and basic operations.



REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION: Minimum Associate Degree in Business Administrative/Office Management or related field; OR equivalent experience and training. Must also have at least three years progressively more responsible administrative experience; preferably with a public non-profit organization. The Office Manager must have strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. They must demonstrate highly professional interpersonal skills, including strong willingness and desire to be helpful and supportive. Must also demonstrate advanced computer skills with MS WINDOWS, MS OFFICE: WORD, EXCEL, AND POWERPOINT; good written and verbal communication skills; experience with basic bookkeeping with associated math skills and attention to details. Also requires basic secretarial skills including filing, record keeping, and minute taking. Desirable skills and attributes include an interest in early childhood issues and a willingness to learn more about the field.



Preferred: Bachelors Degree and experience as described above.
