PCB and Device Driver Developer

We have an ongoing contract opportunity available for a Software Engineer with an IT industry leader. The developer will be responsible for software architecture, design, and development of printed circuit boards and device drivers using real-time operating systems. The candidate should have general Linux understanding, Bash shell scripting,
Lilo/Grub configuration, X-Windows configuration, and Network configuration. Linux Open Source Development Tools, GNU make build utility and tool chain. Editor VI or EMACS. Linux Device Driver Programming to include character mode/block mode/network device drivers.
Software: C/C++, PERL, REXX, Motorola and IBM processor based Assembly Languages, device drivers using real-time operating systems (Linux, VxWorks).
Hardware: Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design, FPGA Design, PowerPC, Architecture, MPEG-2 audio and video compression, High Definition, H.264 video compression, Secure Processor techniques, Chip Verification – coverage. Linux Firmware and Device Driver Skills, i-Mx27 processor, MontaVista Linux.
