Job Description:
The Education Studies Division at RTI International has two openings for the position of Education Analyst 1 to assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting for large-scale survey and analytic studies in education. This position requires working independently and in teams, effective interpersonal and writing skills, the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and with clients, as well as the ability to learn and use new software packages quickly and easily.
Responsibilities:
• Provide general support for data collection activities
• Assist in the training of data collection staff
• Assist in the preparation of text, statistical tables and graphics for project reports and related presentations
• Provide technical support for and assist with the monitoring of data collection and quality assurance activities
• Assist in the development of data file documentation
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a social science or related field
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel
• Coursework in statistics and social science research methods
Desired Skills:
• Experience with SAS or SPSS
