Responsible for accounts receivable administration of hardware/managed services/ext. warr. contracts
Contracts/AR Administrator needed at a Raleigh headquartered computer integration and support company. This position is responsible for accounts receivable administration of all hardware maintenance/managed services/extended warranty contract customers. The work schedule for this full-time position is Mon. - Fri. from 8am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
* Prepares invoices for monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual hardware maintenance and managed services contract customers.
* Maintains all contract information and makes changes as appropriate to ensure accurate, systematic invoicing to customer.
* Job costs all billings and charges of hardware, managed services, and extended warranty contracts.
* Sets up and creates contracts in service and accounting software.
* Assists customers with invoice inquiries.
* Performs AR collections of past due invoices.
* Performs monthly NC Sales & Use Tax calculations and submittal to NC Dept. of Revenue.
* Various report generation.
* Provides administrative backup to administrative assistant for incoming calls/general office duties.
This person must possess:
* at least one year AR experience (including collections) with contract/job costing experience a real plus.
* MS Word and MS Excel proficiency required.
* the ability to type at least 40 wpm accurately.
* superior customer service skills and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment required.
* excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Sage BusinessWorks accounting software knowledge preferred.
* TigerPaw Service & Repair software knowledge preferred.
* NC Sales & Use tax preparation experience preferred.
