Act Team Mental Health Nurse in Chapel Hill. The primary purpose of this position is to act as a team member of the ACT Team and to provide treatment, rehabilitation, and supportive services to adult clients with SPMI. Service Area includes Orange, Person and Chatham County. Responsibilities include physical and psychological assessments, medication management, education and administration; individual and group therapy possible; mental and physical health education and crisis intervention. Requires degree in Nursing from an accredited school and must be licensed as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina. A minimum of one year experience in a psychiatric treatment facility (either inpatient or outpatient) is preferred. Day and on-call rotation hours with a flexible schedule. 20-30 hrs./wk.
