Yoga at Innovative Martial Arts Academy

Namaste:

Some words we often associate with yoga are: balance, peace, relaxation, strength, flexibility. The benefits are countless!!! Yoga is a great way to bring people closer as it helps us to be more in tune with ourselves and feelings. Yoga is also a wonderful place to meet other people in the area with whom you share a common interest.

Yoga focuses on harmonizing the mind, body & spirit through the practice of exercise, breathing & meditation. At Innovative Martial Arts Academy we practice Hatha yoga: fundamental yoga, which includes stretching, holding poses, flowing through poses & final relaxation. This class is basic enough for beginners offering modifications & challenging enough for Level I/II practitioners with variations.

My name is Kim and I am a certified, experienced yoga instructor who is now teaching at Innovative Martial Arts Academy in Wake Forest. Our first class is February 7th at 10am...and will follow every Tuesday at 7:15pm and Saturday at 10am. Your first class is free and we will be running reduced rates throughout the month of February.
