Equal People Organization, Inc. is currently looking for an individual who would be interested in sitting on the Board of Directors as the Secretary of the Board.

MISSION STATEMENT:

Equal People Organization, Inc. is to be a public charity which works towards the fair and just treatment of all people, regardless of their disability, ethnicity, gender, income, race, religion, sexual orientation, or social status. Through education, service, and interaction Equal People Organization stands to nurture acceptance, understanding and respect in order to create more promising futures for individuals and their communities.

The organization’s Board Secretary would:

* Record minutes of board meetings
* Serve as the official keeper of organizational records
* Provide public notice of board meetings when necessary
* Would assist in the design, development, and deployment of programs
* Would serve as a part of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors
