Melt & Pour SoapMaking Class!

Have you always wanted to learn how to make soap? Do you love the idea of natural soaps without the chemicals in commercial soaps? Maybe you love handmade soap and would like to make your own at a fourth of the price. Or maybe you want to become a soap seller... Whatever the reason, if you want to learn to make soap, this class is for you!

Blaire Borthayre, an accomplished soapmaker (www.goodkarmasoaps.etsy.com) will be holding a soapmaking class on Saturday September 12, 2009 from 8:30 AM until 12:30PM at Hampton Inn Cary, North Carolina.

This class will teach you to make Melt and Pour soaps which can be created in many shapes and colors. Most soapmaking classes do not allow for participants to make their own soaps, instead you sit in class and watch the instructor as he makes soaps and lecures.

THIS class is hands on and you will have access to many different fragrances, molds and botanicals to create your soaps. You will make at least Four 5ounce soaps (a $20 value).

You will also get to choose between Glycerin, Shea Butter or Goats Milk for your soap base. Then you can add a variety of botanicals and salts for exfoliating, soothing or softening. Choose your fragrance from our selection of over thirty quality oils. These are creamy, all natural soaps that will make your friends and family "ooh and ahhh".

This is the ONLY soapmaking class being offered in the Triangle so dont miss out! The course fee is $89 and includes all materials needed to make beautiful soaps along with resources for the best place to get materials and advice on packaging, selling and more.
