Milltown is a bar and restaurant on Main Street in Carrboro just across from TJ's Beverages that just opened in Spring 2006. The owners who also run the Federal in Durham, have a done an amazing job giving it an indie feel. The staff is uber friendly; Doug the bartender immediately made me feel at home and ran down the draught beer list with me as soon as I sat down. Milltown has a large selection of premium beers on tap and they serve an array of eclectic foods such as grilled chicken sandwich with grilled pear and gorgonzola, and pulled pork sandwich topped with collard greens.
I guess the best part is that they fill a void in Carrboro by offering a large outdoor seating area with a nice view of the street for people watching.
