I do agree with some parts of the other reviews, but if the movie is $1.50, its a good deal and i never thought the bathrooms were bad, although, generally I don't use public restrooms. Over all this is a 4 of 5 stars theater.
The Carmike does need renovation; the carpet is worn and it is not the cleanest. Its not horrible, but its not Briar Creek. The employees are friendly and the movies start on time or early (commercials). The restrooms are clean enough now, there has been an improvement, in fact most stalls are decent.
They have a Tuesday $1.00 stimulus where popcorn and soda (small only) is $1. The only issue I have with them is they discontinued the .50 cent giant bucket refill -- instead its buy the bucket for $15 and each refill is $2.50. No one can eat that much popcorn so why bother.
Basically the theatre is too worn to offer so little in terms of refreshment deals...count yourself lucky to pay $11 if its not stimulus Tuesday, the $1 day of the week, for a theatre that is fair.
If you are in the mind to have a nice evening, go to Briar Creek. I still go to Carmike 15 but do not look around too closely.
Needs renovating. Small screens. And I HATE that they now have commercials before the show (but that's not Carmike). Worn rug, FILTHY bathrooms (like a New York subway public restroom). Good selection of movies. Too loud -- I always have to stuff napkins in my ears.
I like this place. They have a promotion now that if you pay $13 for a bucket of popcorn, you can keep the bucket, and refill it any time in the next two years for only $0.50!! The picture quality is stunning, as they use DLP digital projection. The people there are very nice, though I have yet to see an employee over the age of 17. The ticket guy is awesome. He is autistic, but really friendly. I definately recommend this theater to everyone.
молодци,хорошо все обустроили.не обрещайте внимание на тех кто говорит 4то етот кинотеатр галимый.ето не так.просто американци жиру бесяца
I regularly went to matinees at Carmike Fifteen. It was not unusual for the movie to start with no sound or sound and no movie - or not to start at all. Sometimes it took requests from several patrons to fix the problem.
I went with my husband one evening. We were there 10 minutes early and went to the correct room. The theatre was completely dark; no movie, no house lights, absolute darkness. It took three requests (two from us and one from another couple - and we were all polite.) to get some lights on so we could find our way to seats. Three different people told us they would fix the problem.
When we left, I went to the women's bathroom. Not only was it filthy, but the urine stench was terrible.
I now drive past Carmike 15 to go to the movie. If I could rate no stars for this theatre, I would do so.
