I like the theatre and all but i WANT BETTER LISTING TIMES FOR THE MOVIES!!!!!!!! i wanna take this girl to go see a movie next weekend but i cant get a time to see it!!!!!AHHH!!!
I just came back from the Premiere of the movie Social Network.
Me and my wife noticed there was several scratches in the MIDDLE of the screen like a cat has claws across the screen when they played the movie, so my wife went over and talked about that with the owner (sorry I forgot his name, Jim or Jeff) about this problem,
and she asked if he could have a look at the scratched and damaged picture and also listen to the surround sound system which was not turned on.
He told my wife I will take a look later. I waited awhile and I went over to speak with the owner of the place, but he had no time for me, because the owner was selling popcorn, he told me literally that this was NOT his priority right now. At that point it made me angry, because there were people selling popcorn already, and he did NOT care to check about the complaints my wife and me had, he offered immediately to give our money back.
So our conclusion is, Mr Owner acted like a person who cares more about the money that comes in with selling popcorn then taking care about the quality of his films, and listening to what was going on.
Not even a " I am sorry ", nothing.
Well Mr Owner life is not only about giving someone his or her money back, it is about SERVICE and listening to your customers.
Close to home, great leather seats and the matinees are great in this hot weather!
My mom and I, and her 4 grandchildren decided to go.
We get there, we buy the tickets, we go in to get the kids settled and before we can get past the guy that takes the tickets, hes asking my Mom who is 60 years old to search her purse?????
He wanted to know if she had any food in her purse, she said I sure do, I have a candy bar and some mints in case my bloodsugar drops, I also have syringes with my insulin and you arent going through my pocket book, he said, you cant go in until we search your purse, ugggh...he searched no one elses pockets or pocket book in the line before or after us...needless to say, this was very rude and wrong.
my mother shouldnt have to be searched going to a movie theater with 4 small grandchildren, ages were 3-8. Talk about embarrassing and just degrating! We spoke with the manager , he said this was standard practice, no one else got searched and everyone Ive talked to said that was rediculous. We got our money back for the tickets and left and went to another theater instead. Where we didnt get searched, and had a great time.
Your policies suck. I could understand if we looked as if we were carrying guns or knives but really a grandma with 4 small children, come on....you suck!
Great theater, especially the fact that it keeps all the paranoid prejudice Chapel Hill and Raleigh people away. Being a transplanted NY'er ( and white ) living in Durham, I love it here , and this theater rocks ! Nice comfortable seats, prices are about on par with other theaters and good sound. Gotta have good sound. Oh yeah, and the people are nice too. Wow, I am suprised how racisim is still heavy here. A little humor, so if you are in a chapel hill restaurant and its packed, want to clear it ? ye'll out and say " Run for your lives ! Black People ! ", ( OK, even if your black you have to admit thats funny), besides, the black folks in Durham are nicer than the white folks in Chapel Hill....and Carborough, holy sh*t !, the whack granola tree hugger nuts have taken root.
Stadium 10 Durham - Good pick, cant go wrong....
( Now all you need is some good Italian food )
Two weeks in a row I've visited this web site to find movies listings are unavailable. What's up with that??
I've been waiting for a closer Movie theatre and the Northgate 10 fits the bill ! The seating is wonderful and I don't worry about my safety even though some people give DURHAM a bad name. It is also a very clean theatre. This will continue to be the place where I go to see a movie!
I LOVE IT ME AND MY HUBBY ALL WAYS GO TO DIS ONE OR SOUTHPOINT
My girlfriend purchased two gift cards last Christmas and when our friends tried to use them later the following year the cards had a zero balance. After speaking to the theater owner, we were refused compensation. Basically an employee pocketed her money and gave us blank gift cards. So, when purchasing gift cards have the cashier check the balance before you leave the theater.
Otherwise the theater is nice.

Great seating in huge leather rocking chairs, pleasant and helpful staff and parking is close by. We have been many times and it is always this way!
great seating. usually not crowded. usually the popcorn is fresh although I did get a stale batch recently. I love this theatre over all others I've visited in the triangle. Don't know why it's not utilized more thank God for small blessings.
