I visit Sharky's about once a week. There is alot of smoke in there, but...you can't beat the food, cold beer, dartboards or pool tables...The price is awesome...Where else in Raleigh can you go and drop $30 or less, have a great time, meet the best people and never have to worry about fights.
Too many jerkoff Steelers fans for me......Besides that it would be pretty cool.
Sharky's is great for darts and pool. You can find some really cool people at the dartboards. They were really friendly, helping us learn cricket and other games. Yeah, a lot of people smoke there, but it IS a pool hall/bar. Food is amazing, best I've had at a bar in Raleigh. Only knock....no liquor. I love tequila, so I just go next door to a bar to do a shot. And yeah, some patrons will bring their dog in for a little while. But they're well behaved and don't bother anyone.
Anyways, great place.
WAY TOO SMOKY. I feel like an ashtray everytime I go to Sharkys. Also, I've been here during food service hours when (2) dogs have been around inside...
Lots of pool tables and 4 dart boards with good lighting. The food is just any old bar food, the beer selection is pretty slim, the staff are friendly. Its really smoky inside but of course it is a bar.
