My first impressions of Atlantic Avenue Orchid & Garden is that it's very spacious and has a great selection of trees, shrubs, plants and their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I also fell in love with the pots and containers... beautiful glazed and terra cotta pots, all sizes, shapes and styles.
The most impressive part of the Garden Center is the Greenhouse which houses one of the largest selection of orchids of all varieties, as well as tropical plants. The orchids are just amazing and the choices are endless. The prices might be higher than other places, but the quality and choice is top notch.
The only thing that I wasn't very happy with is the lack of shady areas in the annuals and perennials. It was a very sunny and hot day when I was there, and it's not easy staying out in the sun for very long.
It was a day well spent though. I got great gardening advice and have planted some nice plants, and shrubs and am well on my way to creating my ideal garden!
