Sloppy. Boxes of books piled up around front desk. Hard to get close enough to pay for purchases (not me, I wouldn't buy anything there). Outrageous prices on some "collectors" books displayed in a glass doored cabinet to give the suckers the impression they are valuable. Biggest section was Romance books, which, unlike rest of store, was neat as a pin. Books were also piled up on top of the tall shelves and could fall on unsuspecting heads at any moment. Overheard owner (Stephen) talking with a couple who had brought in books to sell. He totally bad-mouthed their books, which looked great to me, and offered them an average of 50 cents for a small pile, saying that online that's all they could be sold for. If you want to sell your used books, hold a garage sale. You'll get more for them. As for comfy chairs, I think clean chairs would be better. The slip covers looked like they needed a good wash. No way I'm sitting on them. Oh, yeah, there's "complimentary" (Stephen's word) coffee. I'd rather get a nice cup full at Starbucks or even McDonalds.
Great place to find interesting books, very nice, personal, better than one of those big chain stores. I love comfy chairs!
I love this store. It has seating, free coffee, free wifi, elegant interior. It has thousand of used, rare and out of print books. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I feel like I am at home!
What a charming shop, a very large selection of books very nicely organized. Very easy to find what you are looking for.The day I was there a group of little girls were having a bake sale to raise money for the SPCA. There's a very homey feel to the place

Owner was nice enough to people browsing or buying, but condescending and downright rude to some people trying to sell their books to him.
