Glad you like the sauce since the recipe is MINE! To bad no one ever gives me any credit for how great the food is considering I started the whole thing. "Hi" to the owners, long time no see!
Have eaten there twice, and both times the food and the service were good. I'm not the hugest burger fan in the world but the quality of the food was fantastic. I've paid a lot more for a lot worse, especially in that area. Also, they serve PBR in a can. Places that do that, even when PBR goes in and out of chic, (happened 3 times in the last 20 years) will always get my business. Best bang for the buck on Glenwood South.
you should know better. seriously... what is wrong with you!?! it should be obvious that a $1 burger deal is so that people will eat in and spend money on drinks and other things. it's not for people like you (apparently with no friends to have dinner with) that do take out. the waitress didn't suck, she just told you the truth and you didn't like it.
Foods good , waitress sucks ! I went there a while back cause they had this deal , $1.00 burger after 10pm. I ordered and payed while I was waiting for my food, when my order arrived I wrapped the burger in the foil it came in and started to leave. The waitress says , where are you going ? I reply , home. She got really angry and said I had manipulated her and the $1.00 deal was only for eat in costumers ! She had not informed me of this and I didn't see it written anywhere . I assumed it was because she would be out of a tip so I offered her one , she said " No thats fine, take your burger and go , I hope you choke on it !" I think I let her know how I felt after that and left , never to return.
I absolutely love this place! Great hamburgers and great people. However, what my friend and I love best is not the hamburgers but the sauce that comes with the onion rings. It is absolutely amazing, we dip everything in it, even our burgers! The outdoor seating area is really great, especially at night. This is a great place for anyone who loves burgers and a chill atmosphere.
I ate at Mojoe's a few weeks ago for lunch. It's a tad pricey for what you're getting, but the food itself is GREAT, as is the decor. The waiter was punctual, and took some time to tell us about the history of Mojoe's.
We ate outside; it looked like at night, they have Christmas lights strung up everywhere, so I bet it looks pretty nifty at night. If you like diners and some good hamburgers and fries, then you should try this place out.
