Aside from the location I thought that it was amazing. THe food was fresh, service was friendly yet professional. Great menu. I had a special they were serving that evening and thought that it was just as good or betther than many places to dine in Raleigh. I have worked in and been to a lot of Restaurants and this one was a winner.
We stopped by this restaurant on a Friday night and were surprised at how dead it was and how smelly the restaurant was. I am guessing they had a freezer or fridge problem...
My boyfriend ordered a burger and said it was a good burger and that he would do takeout from them in the future (good value...$7.99). I had the gyro and was not impressed...it just didn't taste very fresh.
The restaurant is clean, lit appropriately for a date, doesn't really attract a crowd with children, kand has a unique beer selection (we tried a russian brew that was good).
Honestly, I would go across the stree to Traili...very blah.
