Warm atmosphere and love the comfy look. Ordered a appt of one of the flat breads, actually the steak and blue cheese FB. And received the wrong one, that was the first mistake. Received dinner, fish was bland but it was okay. Service was not quick and efficient that I hoped. Finally the manager came by and we were already done, I asked her for the check. She was quick to get our check and noticed that we were not happy and took off two cocktails.
Probably will not go back..
Very comfortable and warm atmosphere. The staff was great; anytime one of them walked by your table they took empty dishes and were really on top of things. The chicken pot pie is to die for. Try it, you will not be disappointed.
I have been frequenting Stonewood since it was built. The manager, Jim, is excellent and the food has always been delicious. Their salmon is the best in the area and it is a lovely place for lunch. The bar area is warm, friendly, and top notch bartenders! We especially love the low price martinis!!! Outdside eating is rare in our area- and they have it!! Thanks staff!
I have been there for dinner and have frequented the bar area too. The food is great and the atmosphere is very good. I'll definitely be going back.
I love everything about this restaurant. They have great entrees and change up their fresh vegetables that go on the side of some dishes. They always have asparagus, which I love to see on a regular menu. Their pasta dishes are amazing, and I have never had a bad experience with their fish or meat. I recently decided to give their burger and fries a try, and I think it was the best burger and fries that I have ever had. The atmosphere is beautiful. Dim lights, high ceilings, relaxing or lively music seems to alternate. The side of the restaurant where the bar is seems to be a great place adults to meet for a few drinks and even seems like a nice place to meet new people at night. I've never had a bad experience of any kind (food or service) at this restaurant.
This place is hands down one of the best places to dine in Cary. Very inviting and relaxed atmosphere, and a beautiful veranda for dining on warm nights. Above all, their staff is always amazingly pleasant and extremely attentive to my needs. The herb encrusted grouper and roasted rack of lamb are to die for! I enjoy $5 martinis on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
