HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.
I have been attempting to book an appointment for over a week. Purchased a Groupon for a massage-- NO ONE will call me back or answer my email (I had to email for an appointment because the phone system was transferred to some weird cell phone number...NOT the number of the salon). It has been very strange to try and get an appointment.
The website itself is busy, messy, and unprofessional. So far, I cannot even rate the service I have received because I cannot get an appointment!
People have spent money on these groupons, and I am demanding service, although I am really thinking about giving up and getting my money back. It would be a waste of my time to continue to try and book an appointment, when I've had this much trouble.
What the heck is going on?!? Super angry about how people (including myself) are being treated by this company. Definitely letting Groupon know about this. AND the Better Business Bureau.
We bought the couples massage that was on offer through groupon. We then called and made an appointment, however on the day of the appointment at 1am we get a call telling us that we cannot have the massage because groupon had not made the payment to them, she gave us a number to call that belongs to the groupon rep but the call never went though. We did get a refund from groupon but we still wonder about the 1am call?
Did you ever hear of someone calling you to ask you to do a demo facial so you can get a position. You are up and about and ready for work and then you are sitting outside and nobody shows no owner, or client. Nobody calls you and your are sitting outside like ass. All I get is excuses.
I remember last year, wanted to work PT and she always looking and then she comes up with these excuses and hang you on shoestring.
Just do not do business like that and her reviews as owner is not professional.
This place is a dump. DO NOT GO THERE! I had an appt I'd bought thru Groupon. I saw the place and walked. This is a scam. They are getting their $$ from Groupon and hoping people cancel. Groupon doesn't care. They don't check these scam-artists out. They need to check the service they are selling.
Went there for a brazilian wax. I showed up at 9am for the appt, no one was there, 20 mins later she showed up. She never mentioned anything about running late or anything, the place was dirty. Since I was already there and the price was right I figured I would give her a chance. When I called to make the appt I asked her is she was experienced with maxing men and I asked her about her techniques, she assured me she was a pro and could wax me without taking the skin off. Worst waxing ever, she ripped a lot of skin off, after each pull she would press down so hard on the area just waxed that I thought she was going to break something. I was very uncomfortable for several days after while my skin healed.
Horrible service, horrible waxing.
I have been receiving services from Michelle (GreatExtensions) since 2007 and I have not encountered any issues with professionalism or rudeness. I understand that everyone is entitled to his or her opinion and I respect that. I love Michelle's work and her flexibility (she has appts @ 7am!). Plus she always has specials for repeat clients. All I can say is that you need to make the judgement for yourself. I did and I don’t plan on changing anytime soon
MIchelle is very rude and unprofessional. I am suprised she even has any clients.
Please I know the feeling and this woman should not be allow to practice or be in business and she piece of work and not professional as well.
Rejuve is owned by Michelle Smith who also conducts continuing education courses known as Beauty Education and Resources. On November 22, I registered online for the Specialty Services with Aromatherapy & Reflexology continuing education course- it was a 2 step process = register and pay. The options to pay were very confusing because on the site there are many different prices that you click on. I got an E-mail the next day confirming that I signed up for the class and to tell me that I needed to pay. I called the afternoon of November 26 and spoke to someone about the confusing payment options and was told to click on the $80 link and wait for an E-mail confirming payment and the time of class (the class time was not available on the website). Please refer to the website to view the messy registration page at beautyeducationandresources.com. As soon as I hung up the phone I did as I was told. I paid through PayPal which is their preferred payment option and received a receipt through E-mail at 12:55 pm confirming payment. I waited until that night to E-mail the owner informing her that I did not receive an E-mail with the time of the class. I heard nothing back. I continued to call everyday and leaving messages up until the morning of the scheduled class. On November 30, after driving 30 miles I arrived at 8:45 am to find that the business was closed. I assumed the class was at 9:00 am because that was the time posted for other CE classes on the website. I then saw another number on the door of the business to call and left that number a message. The owner Michelle Smith called me back within 5 minutes saying that there was no class. She said that she had gotten my messages (I had left 4 voicemails and 1 email). I asked her first that if she got my messages, then why she didn't reply to my messages telling me the class was canceled? And 2nd, if she knew the class was canceled when I called about payment options on the 26th then why not tell me then instead of telling me to pay? She was rude and said that she would refund my money "WHEN SHE FOUND THE TIME" and then hung up on me! I am furious. I drove 60 miles total costing me more money and I had to hire a baby-sitter who I paid $40 prior to the class.
Decemeber 1st, I decided that I needed the class and would call and hope that the situation could be resolved by just being rescheduled for another class. On December 3rd, I got an email from Michelle that I was confirmed for another class on December 7th. She called one hour before this class to cancel, once again! On December 18th I received an email that the owner was sending out my refund the next day. It is now January 10th and I still HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY REFUND!!! I have called numerous times but one one ever answers the phone.
Rejuve Salon and Spa and Beauty Education and Recourse have horrible business ethics and I do not recommend anyone dealing with such an unprofessional owner. I will be taking legal action to get a refund of ALL expenses paid. I will be leaving this same bad review on every website I can find that Rejuve and BER are on. If this doesn't work, I will go to the courthouse and get my picketing license and picket outside of your business. I have already told many many people about this situation - remember, I am a nail tech and therefor I meet many people who need their hair done.
Michelle, if you would like to handle matters outside of court - please contact me.

I have dealt with Ms. Smith and BER in the past and the same thing happened to me.
Sorry, guys and I was going to work for her and she did have the time to send my pay. She is unprofessional, rude, and just do not want to be around a person like that. She not wrapped to tight.
Then wants to pay me only 5.00 and nobody shows up her or client and leave me hanging on shoestring.... What nerve.....
In Regards to jenna post:
Not only did we refund her but the story that she has written didnt quite go that way, we are not wasting time answering this stuff. We got clients to do!
Its funny a lawyer contacted me on jenna hall after she tried to sue the company she work for over some false allegations and jenna friends us on facebook and twitter.

I will also say, yes we do post for space. We will continue to do so like any other business until all space is filled. But your not a owner so you dont really know about salon operation. Some of the professionals that came on board in the past had a lack of confidence, lack of experience, no drive, lack of knowledge, unprofessional speech, unprofessional attire, and most of all did not fulfill a contract that they agreed to, just to mention a few. We dont guarantee success but we offer a great option for those who are professional and we can help such one that has a passion to be successful and willing to work hard to get there.
(spohia profile name) Mrs Tess that posted about 6 comments here was so upset because i was late, i have a very busy schedule and apologized sincerely. I compensated her in my opinion what was fair. The pay was $10 per hour for the position, she said she waited 30min, so i paid her for the time she waited. But when i met her, here again, she had some sort of disability in her speech and her performance was so unsuccessful in how she removed the wax strips that i couldnt tell she had been to esthetician school. So sincerely i shared that with her in a professional way, that she was gonna need alot of training. If you dont believe me Mrs.Tess then just go to another wax professional and let them see you technique and they can tell you. But in no way was i trying to ridicule. But i had to tell the truth. And actually all 3 estheticans that i have interviewed last, lacked in the basic skill of how to remove a wax strip properly.
Good luck to you and the success of your business.

I have a friend and her friend knew about her and something with the beauty business and she does not keep her appointments with others professionals and take money from them and does not paid her employees or people that come. It appears with all the reviews that people said about this person and I do not even know who she is. She sounds like winner and maybe she should just stick with hair... Many said she nuts and blow people off and ten thousands excuses.
