A great old Raleigh Favorite. Big eds homemade biscuits and bbq chicken is "smack your mama" good. I have to go get my fix at least once a month and I don't eat out that often. Best in town!
Good home town resturant. It is a great place for breakfast. The old home feeling and great service. Eat there at least once a month on Saturdays.

We ate a valentines day breakfast at Big Eds. I'd heard it was a great breakfast, and I wasn't let down! Down-home southern-style restaurant with fabulous decorations. The ceiling is covered with hanging farm equipment and nostalgia from times past. The food portions were sizeable and the price was good. I had an excellent slice of country ham, grits, eggs, and two delicious biscuits. The pancakes are *gigantic* and very tasty. Saturday morning was VERY busy, and we had to wait in line, but it was worth it. Highly recommend you try Big Eds.
