The service is awful. I have been multiple times in the past few weeks, and each time has been disappointing. The final straw was last night, when the server was so rude that my husband and I got our cold food to-go and left (after trying to wave down the waitress and get our check for 15 minutes). The ONLY thing this place has going for it is the location. Food is OK at best (get some plates, people don't like eating off of wood boards) and the service is the worst I've ever seen. Will never go back.

Great location, some lovely beers. Can get very busy when the weather is great so service is a little stretched. I keep going back so it must be great and the owner is very nice adn friendly, more like the host at a party than the owner of a business which helps to create a great vibe.

view is good, food is decent, beer is ok... not a huge fan. service was lackluster, seems our server was more interested in her laptop than keeping our drinks full. thing that killed it was there was this older guy who was staring at my table and kept coming over and annoying my wife and the rest of our party. come to find out he is the owner. will not be returning there.

The location is fantastic. I like the feel of the outside area with the shared picnic tables overlooking downtown Raleigh. The beer is good and the food was pretty tasty as well. The owner did a fantastic job renovating this space. The service was friendly but slow and most of the beers on the list weren't available which made it hard to decide. My memory is shite so I need to see it on paper :)

Nonetheless I'll be back many times I'm sure. Oh and its dog friendly!
