I heard that the place is already out of business. Called the number but it's disconnected. Does anyone know anything about it? Thought we might try it but won't make the trip if they're gone.
Tap City never lets me down fresh hot delicious food, frosted beer glasses great service.. a real gem right in the neighborhood. You must try the Old Bay boiled shrimp and hand cut batter dipped onion rings!
AWESOME food!!! For this to be a bar, the food is phenomenal...I had a wonderful dinning experience. Our service was grade "A" I love this new place and will continue to make it my weekly routine!!
This place keeps getting better & better. Happy hour rocks with inexpensive app's.
Dinner & lunch portions are huge & pretty much everything is under $10
check out Blue Point toasted lager. YUMMY
This place is awesome. Great Food, Great Beer, Great Atomsphere. Live Music & Good Times.
I like the beer and the food. Becoming a frequent weekend hang-out. Served Natty Greens, Red Oak and other prized local beers. Give it a whirl!
Have been back several times with my drinking buddies who think this place is the bomb. They have gotten their beer warmer and will pour your beer into a room temp glass if you ask. The co-owner is a very nice lady who is always there trying to make a go of it. The bar is usually busy but the dinning room at night is empty. They do a strong lunch business. Wings and shrimp are highly recommended. The only other thing I have had is a cheese burger and it was not as good as the other Tap Room's. Place is growing on me, getting better. Not your usual noisy beer dive Went for the beer and the bar.
Previously...32 taps of too cold beer. That's right Luddites, beer can be too cold. Hurts the flavor to the point of not being able to distinguish one stale keg from another. With 32 taps and not enough patrons, the beer gets stale, skunky even. The Skullcoast Maelstrom was yummy however. The other 6 IPA's I sampled were either too cold to taste properly or were totally undrinkable.
Also sampled the wings and tots. Both good if a little pricey.
This is a big ole barn of a place with a monthly lease payment equal to it's square footage I am sure. Supposedly this joint is owned and operated by one of the original Tap Room franchisers. I wish him/them luck. Menu is not the standard Tap Room fare and is a little pricey but hey so is the Tap Room's these days. Darn near $10 for a cheese burger. Not for this working class schmo. It's back to Michael Dean's for my boys night out. Hard to beat $2 micro brews from Fayetteville.
Leigh and her partner have gone out of their way to create a truly fine American bar. Coupled with great, modestly priced meals, the beer and wine selections are first rate and very affordable. Definitely worth a try, even if you are not in the immediate area.
This restaurant is amazing. The hostesses open the door with a big smile and greet you very friendly. They even ask if you would perfer a table or booth! The waiters and waitresses are so nice. They dont leave you waiting and are very cheerful when taking your order. The food is DELISH! They give you alot of food for a small price. Its great. I love it. Everyone should go there and eat! (:
be careful when you say food made you sick---i handle these type issues for a living. it takes 12 hours or more to get food poisoning
Took my sister for dinner and drinks last night and was very disappointed in our food. Service was okay but the food made us sick later on. I live just down the street and hadn't been in a while but it wasn't as good as I remembered. I'll try one more time before I call it quits.
