I ordered sushi from Fuji and was not impressed. The rice was cold and dry and none of the rolls had any flavor. Even the salad was blah. The dressing tasted like mayo with some ginger flavoring. I've had way better...

We went yesterday (5-27-12) and were disappointed. We asked for our steak to be cooked medium rare and we got well done. On top of that, the left all the fat on the steak, they didn't even cut the fat off before cooking. They did give 1/2 off the meal. Still couldn't enjoy the meal fully since the meat was over cooked.

The waitress also seemed to be staring at us the whole time we were there, it was kinda creepy.

My family and I used to frequent Kaze in Garner as we really like the food, even though the service has gone drastically down hill! Since we have found Fuji's I can promise that we will not ever be going back to Kaze!
Fuji's is VERY clean, and the atmosphere was awesome. Exactly what I would expect for a Japanse steakhouse.
The food was fabulous and reasonably priced.
Now, on to the service: They were the best I have seen at any Japanese Steakhouse! (including Kanki) The show they put on was fun and kept my kids entertained the entire time. You can really tell that the employees really enjoy working there.
I am so grateful and happy that we have such a magnificant Japanese Steakhouse in Garner! All I can say is, Kaze, you have a run for your money!

My wife and I dropped into this new place after noticing it the other day when I went to Lowes to get some keys made. We went super late and saw the sign saying that they close at 2:30 for lunch. Since we were already there we just decided to go in anyways and see if they would take us. Worst thing that can happen is that we get a menu and eat somewhere else. When I first stepped foot into this place I was amazed as to how large it was. They took us in even though there were only a few employees still there and the others had left on their breaks. They still took us since they said they usually just clean everything during the lunch break. Our waitress was fast and friendly and didn't seem to mind waiting on us even though she was on her break. As we ate we spent most of our time just watching the guys clean all the grills and chairs and everything. They cleaned every little spot in the place, I guess thats why they have a sanitation rating of 101. The food was great and It was extremely peaceful and we were overjoyed that a place like this would serve us even though they were technically closed. We are thoroughly impressed with the amount of food for the low price and plan to visit again, at their regular hours of course.
