Attempted to use a Groupon at Raleighwood Cinema Grill this weekend. It was expired, but the terms clearly stated it was still valued at the $4 I paid for it. Raleighwood had a sign on their door that said my voucher was "Charmin toilet paper" and denied redeeming it. I contacted Groupon today, and was quickly refunded my money. Groupon said that Raleighwood (and all merchants) sign a contact that they are to redeem the voucher for the paid value. I can't believe Raleighwood would cause a fuss over $4, and post such an unprofessional sign on their door. Way to be a local business. I won't be going there again.

Our favorite theater, its great! we have enjoyed RALEIGHWOOD for over fifteen years. Monday Night Football, have had our childrens' birthday parties there, enjoy their amazing Superbowl Party and the best red carpet showing of The Academy Awards every year.

Arrive thirty minutes before the movie is scheduled to start, enjoy the pre-show entertainment and enjoy the great service, great food and desserts. The serve beer and wine and their hot fudge brownie sundaes are the best!

It's a shame so many of these 'comments' sites have degenerated into a crying towel for the Mr. and Mrs. Whinners of the world. Oh well, if you can't enjoy this wonderful place start pulling in the dirt!

Homey local feel, with comfy swiveling office desk chairs with shoulder support instead of rack seating; well preserved 80s decor; arrive early to get coveted raised platform, front row seats; food is cheeseburger fare and pricey for what it is, but welcome and reasonable during a movie; GREAT steak fries; cleaner than most other theaters, and sound is good but not overwhelming (problem in other local theater chains); having a countertop table to sit at is nice; BEWARE! they only take cash more movie tickets (take cards for food inside), so hit ATM before going; great place to catch action movies you missed at new release theater which will be crummy on cable at home and great place for kids movies and kids; you can feed them pizza or hamburger instead of a box of jujubes for dinner, when there is never time enough for dinner, then a movie.

This used to be my favorite place to go to the movies. The screens are small and they don't have the best projectors but everyone gets a leather office chair and a bunch of leg and arm space so it more than makes up for it in my opinion. The place is normally no more than half full (no new release movies) and I have never had to fight for a decent seat. More good is that you can have a burger and a beer with your movie. The bad is that they recently (in the last 8 months or so) raised all their prices. Most of their food is up to Cook Out's standards which was good at 1am when I was in college. 10 bucks for three chewy chicken tenders. You have to pay for tap water unless you buy beer or soda. No refills on soda. They used to have a cool t-shirt special on Wednesdays where if you bought a t-shirt you could come to the movie for free. Granted its only 4.50 a ticket but that got me there to spend 30 bucks on food and beer. Basically, I now only go there when I miss a movie at a real theater and don't want to buy it because they normally get movies right when they come out on DVD/Blu-ray. Final verdict is that its a cool idea but the food either needs to cost less or be better because I could go to Chili's, eat better food, and rent the same movie I'm seeing there for about half of what I spend there.

This is a fun place to go. Food is reasonably priced, experience is fun. We like it here.

Wow...it is our all time favorite place! We love to "date night"...movie and incredible pizza all at once! The wait staff is always great and we love our oversized chairs! Also, love the pre-movie concerts or games...the price of the movie is almost 1/2 of the movie theater and we think the food is reasonable! Check it out again!

The idea is great, but the execution is uncomfortable, overcooked and expensive. Take the kids (once) for the only experience one life will ever need.
