Fresh pita, fresh hummus and a slew of other delights makes this place one of my favorites. I always have a good meal or get good take away here.

Neomonde is the best place to buy fresh pita (light-years away from store-bought pita), fresh hummus (again, amazing), and other mediterranean food/spices. They also have amazing chicken salad.
If you're going there for lunch/dinner you can just ask for bowls of various foods and pay by the weight. This is a great way to sample a bunch of different things for a good price.

This place is great for lunch! They have great pizzas and desserts. Also a very cool mini grocery store with international food! Very good prices on everything! Dining inside or out!

This is THE best mediterranean deli/restaurant anywhere in North Carolina. I have been going there for years. It is family run and the food in exceptional. Very healthy and delicious. They don't advertise, so you know it has to be good if it is always busy. They have a selection of pies, sandwiches, kabobs, daily fresh baked breads, salads, and a whole bunch of other stuff you can buy either by the pound or as part of a platter. Catering there is great as well. AND there is also a grocery store where you can buy all sorts of products. It is the best!!!

We usually buy our favorites by the pound at the deli-- lentils w/ carmelized onions, couscous salad, chickpea salad, fatoush-- and then also get sandwiches to eat there. The food is so flavorful and healthy and you can design your own meal for very little money-- vegetarian or not. You can really get a hearty vegetarian meal there with many flavors. And the bread and desserts are amazing. Really perfect baklava. For an easy weeknight dinner you can't beat it. But be ready to wait at lunch-- it's very popular with students and the business on that end of Hillsborough.

Great fresh food--the hummous is amazing, and this is one of the few places that can settle a craving for the Mediterranean. It is an order and sit kind of place; there's even an import grocery section and they sell their homemade pitas, for low prices.
It is great for us broke college students, since you can order a range of things, without breaking the bank. It is packed at lunchtime, though, yet still remains a place to grab a quick bite.
