I recently visited "The George" on a Thursday night, and must say I was impressed. Among other dishes I had the outstanding Sashimi Tuna with "Lime Air," and was blown away by the creativity. It happened to be random beer discount night, and was able to drink some amazing micros and belgains. I really enjoyed the bartenders ipod and modern atmosphere. I can't wait to go back!

The George used to be 'April & George' which was just a wine bar. The new venue is a tapas restaurant with a lot of healthy options which gives it high marks in my book. The Caprese salad is really good with fresh tasting mozzarella though the basil seemed to be preserved and from a squirt tube. The shrimp quesadilla was great and the wine selection actually seems to be better than when it was just a wine bar. :)
I really like the new atmosphere especially the booths, new dim lighting, and the new eco-friendly bamboo bar (at least I think its bamboo).
BIG problem with THE GEORGE: Get rid of the scented candles! No restaurant or bar should have scented candles or incense. It ruins the meal and/or drink.
