To many chiefs and not enough good indians, board trying to save the center, but making total mess of what DOROTHY WILSON AND OTHER GOOD PIONEERS PUT TOGETHER, I'm sure they don't even know who DOROTHY WILSON is. Shame, shame, shame to allow such a once what was a top of the line program come to what it is now! Find someone who knows what to do to get the job done and to keep the program going and prospering. Save yourself the HEADACHE and DO NOT Enroll your Child(ren) here. This WAS a great daycare until the new director took over. She spews lies to parents, is incredibly aloof and inconsistent and tries to make up her own rules that violate sanitation rules, as well as state and federal regulations. She has caused chaos at a previous reputable daycare which took months for them to recover from. When she came to Method she hired another work from her previous daycare who is just down right mean and nasty to parents and children. Saw her on a few occasions shoveling food into kids mouth without letting them finish what was in their mouth. She lets the babies go 3-4 hours without diaper changes and 4+ hours without food. This site was recently visited by DHHS and they received numerous violations. The back door to the facility was left open (in the baby room) A baby went 4+ hours without being fed. Check out the NC DHHS website for more info on violations. This place is poorly managed and if you have your child in this place I would suggest asking them what goes on there (and what kind of food they serve) they've been caught serving non nutritious meals as well (again all confirmed on DHHS website) FYI "Gamma23" and "Tom" are on the Board of Directors so these are just fake reviews to boost ratings I am pretty confident Momma bear and parent are too!!! All reviews written within a few days of each other (come on) Call around to other day cares in the area they will openly tell you the kinds of problems that go on here. Or take a ride down to DHHS and view there files on the new director and the daycare she worked out before! Stay Informed, and pop in at various times of the day to see WHAT is really going on!!!
Both our children have gone or are going to Method from infants to age five. The staff is great. Just the right mix of nurturing and structured activity. With our first, they practically taught us what we needed to do--the teachers had a way of encouraging us and were always open to our needs for our child. With our second, we so appreciate how advanced he is over other kids we meet--we attribute that to the one on one attention he receives each day. The teachers really care.
The member who wrote this is a board member and wants to boost ratings. Some of the staff is wonderful, but the leadership has no real qualifications. She has bounced from daycare to daycare both here in NC and out in Nevada. In fact, she was denied her director's license in Nevada when trying to change daycares. Each daycare is left with a mess to clean up once she leaves. Unfortunately the board of directors does not seem to care anymore about Method either.
I loved the staff. They have such loving natures. I liked the diversity and education provided to the kids. It was more than just a babysitter for my children.
of course she luvs the staff, she is chair of the board and has to say good things about them. what a joke.
