I went there once because I was craving a Sonic Blast. I got an oreo one and it took them at least 15 minutes to make it even though i was in the drive thru. On top of that, as I was driving home, I realized that there was no oreos in it except on top. By that time i was nearly home and didn't want to drive back. I was so mad, I threw it out the window and I won't go back.

I live nearby and have been there around 15-20 times. I agree with the last review of how the food has steadily declined. At first it was great, but the past 5 times I have been there, the food has been thrown together or missing ingredients or items. I expect it when going there now, which is why I am probably not going to visit them for awhile and hopefully next time I do the management will be better.

They were great at first but the quality of the food has quickly declined. I live right by there so my family has been there at least a few times a week since they opened. I realize they're serving "fast" food, but some of the items we have received have been just completely rushed. My kids have ordered corn dogs from there a couple times but refuse to anymore because they're always burnt looking. Also I order the same thing every single time (Toaster Sandwich) and usually it's not a very pretty sandwich..halfway thrown together and what's really strange is I've been to Sonic Drive-in's all over the country and I've always received a toaster sandwich cut in half (grilled cheese sandwiches too), but I've never gotten one from this location that was cut in half. When you have small kids and they get a kids wacky pack meal with a grilled cheese sandwich they can't eat easily, it's frustrating. Why not cut your sandwiches in half when they're so big?
Also, although the idea of happy hour is totally cool (1/2 priced drinks 2pm-4pm every day!) the slushes are never mixed up properly, and we have been receiving a sticky mess lately.
I guess what I'm getting at is this store needs to step it up a little. It would only take a fraction of more time to make sure the food was presented to customers a little better. Also, stop cooking the corn dogs too long! They don't look normal.

Mozzarella sticks and butterfinger blast? Good God man get a hold of yourself! Why waste time writing a review about a place that serves the same frozen meet as every other place? Wow! You don't even need to get out of your car! I understand it's a great place for high school students to get a quick bite on a lunch break, but in college, man, I hope you're staying in your dorm or apt and nuking a lean cuisine or something. I don't want to be able to Google 'Raleigh restaurants' and find this review or the McDonalds on Creedmoor or the Chickfila at North Hills.
Roller skate your ass to some better food.

I love it. It has a great location for students at athens drive high, and state. The service is amazing, and I adore Happy Hour. I hope that its not a limited time offer. My personal favorite is definatley the mozzerella sticks with a butterfinger blast.

Suprisingly, the food was exceptional on the first night they opened. Its hard to compare this to cookout, but im glad to have one closer to my home. I will going here alot, for sure.

They just opened a few days ago, so right now the service is spectacular! Great guilty pleasures that Sonic is famous for and carhops on roller skates. My favorite thing is the foot long coney dog with a cherry limeade-- yes, a GUILTY pleasure, but YUM.
One slight drawback on this location is that it's in a crowded parking lot at the Harris Teeter. The Sonic lot itself is fine, but entering and leaving the Sonic lot is a little dicey-- the regular Harris Teeter traffic is not sure how to deal with the new patterns yet. So take it a little slow into the parking lot-- it will be worth it.

If you like fast food and the '50s, this is the place to go. As far as I know, it's the only drive-in fast food restaurant. You drive into a parking spot, and scan the menu right next to you. You order into it, and before long, a girl on roller skates will skate up to your car with your food.
We went on the Grand Opening, so they had balloons festooning the building, and a Sonic cup mascot walking around waving to people. It was funny to see some of the roller skaters going really slow and carefully since they were new to it.
If you go, get the cherry limeade. Es muy sabrosa.
