Great food, Great fun, Great drink!
It's not your typical Irish bar/pub.. it's a cut above the rest. The food is great quality and quantity, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is excellent- very attentive. The decor is really nice and the place is spacious. The tables aren't crammed right next to each other. You have a bit of privacy.
The beer selection is great, obviously, since it's an Irish restaurant/pub. But there's also a very good wine selection as well.
You must give this place a try. It'll become one of your favorites.

Great place, good atmosphere, I'll be back again and again.

I was there today for the first time. My friend ordered a steak medium rare and it was delivered well done. When she sent it back, the manager came out and argued with her! Then she asked for a Cobb salad to replace it which came out quickly and was fine. But when the bill came, she had been charged for the steak. The waiter said his manager had made him do it. We then asked for the steak (since we were paying for it) and were told it had been thrown away. I will NEVER set foot in there again and will encourage everyone else I know to do the same. With management like that, they don't deserve to be in business.

I have become a regular lunch customer at Trali. They have an outstanding lunch offering called Fresh Carvery Station, my mother would be jealous. Perfect if you are in a hurry or very hungry. They offer it Monday thru Friday. Offering changes everyday and includes fresh turkey, corned beef, roast beef, pork, chicken, etc.. and includes a couple of sides. I mean the real thing like your mother makes, all for $10. Large portions have always been offered. Been there twice for drinks after work and enjoyed the crowd. Nice alternative to the Ale House. Smoke free dining is always a plus, and Martin, one of the owners (yes he is Irish), said the outdoor seating is coming soon. And yes I have enjoyed the perfect pint there.

Not up to the standards of the reigning pubs in Raleigh. The menu left alot to be desired. If you went in expecting traditional pub offerings, as we did, you will be sorely disappointed. Also VERY pricey for a place that claims to be a "pub".

This place is great. Simple atmosphere, not overdone but distinctly Irish. We did bring our children which did not seem to bother other patrons as it was on an early Sunday evening.
The food was terrific, loved the fried camembert as well as the fish/potatocake apps. Shepherds pie and Fish & Chips rocks. Smoke free atmosphere appreciated. Our server was delightful and patiently separated checks for our rather large groups of 14 people.
We will definitely plan to get a sitter next time to check it out again - highly recommended.

This is by far the best pub in the area. The service is fantastic, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is as inviting as any pub in Ireland! My family LOVES this place and we try to make it a weekly outing. I don't share the same feelings about the other so-called pubs in the area, so Trali it is!

The food at this Brier Creek restaurant was ok though I think I just ordered the wrong thing from the menu. I was late meeting some people so I had to make a quick decision, forgot I was in an Irish pub and ordered the jerk chicken. It was overdone but still not horrible. I wish I had ordered a steak & kidney pie. Next time.
The staff was really friendly especially considering we had a large table and everyone needed a separate check.
I'll be back for that pie.

This is the best Irish pub in Raleigh as far as I'm concerned. Tir Na Nog's cheesy Irish theme park atmosphere and overwhelming smoke, Hibernian's overpriced poor service, and Napper Tandy's crowded bar can't compare to the true pub feel of Trali. The food is great - cornish game hen for $12 with an amazing stuffing. Their Guinness is the same price as all of the above listed establishments, and I can say with GREAT CONFIDENCE that the service is far superior to anything I've experienced at Tir Na Nog, Hibernian, or Napper Tandy's. Their waitstaff is helpful, professional, and friendly. I will continue to visit Trali nearly every week.
wow, u must have a tough day. I don't know what you mean by the sun, been there several times and windows are covered with murials or curtains. staff was friendly and crowd is mostly R.T.P workers and local Briercreek residents which is what I am
