Just came back from a great breakfast at the Flying Biscuit! 3 time in the last 2 weeks we have eaten there, service was great and food excellent, we were pleasantly suprised today to see several new menu additions, including their famous oatmeal pancakes, and tofu scramble. Keep up the great work
Going to the Flying Biscut on a sunday morning is amazing. Getting out of church and heading over to have some breakfast was one of the best days i've had in a long time. The wait was about 25 minutes, but completely worth it. Our server was a handsome young man who really knew what he was doing. The food was excellent and dispite how crowded it was, it didn't take too long for it to come out. A sunday visit to the Flying Biscuit will become a new tradition for my family and I after church.
I really enjoyed my experience at the Flying Biscuit. There is a great lively atmosphere and the bar staff was great! Katie and Val were there on a busy Friday at lunch and I felt that they were attentive and gave great service along with frinedly chatter. My BLT was amazing and I relaly enjoyed the home made balsamic vin. Yum! I suggest a visit and try the bar - faster service and more friendly folks to serve you.
I ate at the Flying Biscuit last night for dinner. My girlfriend and I were in the mood for breakfast so we decided to try. She had the french toast and I had the Eggs Benedict. To be honest we have been dating for about six months and it is the first time I have seen her finish an entire meal while at the restaurant. My eggs benedict couldn't have been better either. I had them poached which 95 percent of places screw up and they were fantastic. To top it all off they have a full bar as well! This is exactly what Raleigh is in desperate need of. A great breakfast all day place.
If you want breakfast anytime, you have to try the Flying Biscuit in Cameron Village! The decor is bright and cheery, and the food and service are better then most. While breakfast is their mainstay, they also offer sandwiches, pastas, salads, and even a beef hamburger they also have a full bar. We dined there several times since it has opened and while it had some rough patches in the beginning it only continues to get better as time goes on and the kinks are worked out. If your looking for great food at a fair price then give it a try!
I agree with the last review, We ate dinner there a few nights ago, and it was perfect, the French toast was great, and my husband had the Tilapia. The server was very friendly and polite. We will be back there are not many places one can eat for under $10.00 a person in Raleigh and still get good food! Nobody is perfect and people make mistakes but dont let those mistakes keep you from trying this great little gem
Wow tough crowd, I have eaten there many times and never had a single bad experience, service is always great, and food is fine, sure its busy on the weekends so expect to wait a little, but heck that is common sense when you eat out on a busy day. Servers are always polite of course I start off on a good note by being polite to them to begin with. Don't let some of these reviews discourage you give it a try for yourself.
I was really looking forwards to this place. The menu, the atmosphere, the location... they had everything going for them. But somehow they managed to hire the least experienced servers and cooks they could find, and cheap out on the ingredients to the point that many things are so far below average in quality you feel robbed when you get your bill. I'd thought this might be the place to come for some healthy food, but that's not the case. It's heavy, oily, bland and most things are either over or undercooked. And the biscuits are terrible! What a waste :( Also, most posts mention the bad service, and I agree. No one knows what they're doing over there.
The biscuits are frozen, not homemade. Definitely subpar for a place with friggin "biscuit" in it. Plus, I'm pretty sure when I went (about a month ago) the biscuits were from Bojangles. Overpriced and not worth it.
I hate this place the food sucks and the sodas are flat save your sel the money don't go
