Great bargain, nasty restrooms.

I've been going to this movies for the past 9/10 years and for the price I think it's great ! Thank God, somebody cared to think of those in need or on a budget that wants and need to get out sometimes. I have NEVER experiences rats or any other critter roaming around. Bathrooms are clean as well as the movie area. It always have a great crowd (movies always filled) so that speaks for something...... parents maybe need to control their kids but Nothing out of the ordinary (where kids go) all movies (mall or not) Popcorn is Great as well as latest movies . Again, just as good if NOT better than any other theater in the area ( and only 1.50) come on people ..... stop complaining - we are in a recession. Thank God for the owner/manager with such a kind heart!!! What or where else can you go for a 1.50 ? and enjoy? Again .... Thanks for having such a "great" deal in the Area!!!

I love this theater , I obviously love their prices... I can't understand though how some parents can be so irresponsible as to take their young and I do mean young children to the R rated or the graphic pg 13 movies ....I feel sick just thinking about it.

This theater is AWESOME! I'm 22, and I have been going here since I was little. It's $1.50!?!??!?!? You CANNOT beat that for a movie that just didn't do so well or is just past it's prime. I PURPOSELY wait to see some so-so looking movies or one's that I'm not too sure about AT the $1.50 movie so I don't feel too bad about the money spent. We're in a freakin' recession folks; you have to be CRAZY to complain about a place where you can literally take a date for $3. Come ON folks! And I don't care what ANY says; I've been going here for over 15 years and I have NEVER seen a roach OR a rat. And I go here quite often.

Definitely no frills. Great price but you get what you pay for. You have to put up with the bad smells, small viewing areas (some rude people put coats on the seats to save them for friends & you get stuck sitting up in the front). Sound quality is not great, and the last film I saw, Australia, had flashes of light moving through the entire film.

My wife and I have been to this Movie Theater plenty of times. A $1.50 apiece and not big crowds is a treat. Yes, I did see a few mice, AND I sad Mice NOT RATS. Any place can get mice. It is very nice.

Blue Ridge 14 is a great place to see a movie. The theatres aren't too crowded and it's definitely worth the price of admission. I've never had any problems and have always been pleased with my trip. It's hard to be disappointed when you only spent $1.50!

BEWARE!!!! A lady was ROBBED in their BATHROOM!! SEE THE NEWS FOR YOURSELF!!
I can't find any mention of this on WRAL. Do you have a link to the story you can paste?
i don't know if this story is exaggerated. but this has not been my experience. i have enjoyed all my visits to this theater and find it a good place to take the family (3 and older). maybe you have the wrong theater. if not, i feel bad for you. if i saw a rat, i probably would not return. however, i have been going to this theater for about 8 years.
First off, you provide no evidence. Second off, that doesn't have any bearing on the business itself. I've never been worried or afraid when I went to visit Blue Ridge 14. It always has plenty of people around, and it's definitely worth the price of admission.

nasty it has rats im scared 2 go there one was on my shoes i had 2 hold my feet up the whole time i thought i seen a rat then this woman that i didnt no came and said she seen a rat beside my feet i will not go there anymore and the prices are 2 high i will go to pleasant vally were students get discounts for 525 thank you

All I can say is $3.00 for two to see a new movie that has been out a month or so is unbelievable in this economy. I have been seeing movies there since I moved to Raleigh 8 years ago. My wife and I have NEVER seen a rat, mouse or even a roach. The rest rooms are always clean. The staff is very friendly, the concessions are fresh and they even offer free refills on certain size drinks and corn. There have been some problems with the heat not working, the movie not working properly and unattended children talking loud and misbehaving. Just mention the problem to a manager and it is promptly resolved. I say to the staff and management; Good job and keep up the good work! Parents, please don't drop off your very small children and leave them unattended in PG and higher rated movies, they disturb others and it is not safe for them.
